Shastri Datar, a learned grammarian in the Sankrit Tradition wrote Akhyans, directed
and composed music. The company performed Akhyans in Bhave mode but then
added 'farces' to their repertoire. |

mruglanchhan and swarajyache taat but this period was of decline of Sangeet Natak
so these plays did not have many shows and Khandekar also turn away from play
writing. |
Nobody got
prize but one of the reviewers of competition Bhausaheb Soman from Belgaon
liked this play and recommended it for production. Khandekar’s school friend
Vasudev Waman Atitkar published it. |
